Day 89

It has been a LONG day. Earlier in the day I took some sprout pictures.

Then the evening got interesting (read:horrible) Forgive the poor quality of the pictures grabbing my external flash wasn’t a priority. I’ll start by saying that outside of a gash Blake is 100% fine. No concussion or anything is suspected. You know the kids song 5 Little Monkey’s Jumping on the Bed… replace bed with couch and he bumped his head on the edge of our brick fireplace. Most of the fireplace is covered by safety pads. He hit the one area that is not covered. A little over 3 hours in the Children’s ER and FIVE staples to my little boys noggin and we’re home safe. The sweater sadly did not make it. I wasn’t about to pull that tight collar over his head. Oh well it was a cheap sale sweater. He did every well and barely even cried while they were cleaning and stapling him up. I am exhausted. Oh and the fact that he is picking his nose is awesome blackmail gold 🙂
I’m happy we made it 2.5+ years without an ER visit for an injury (he was taken once after a car accident but checked out perfectly fine)
