What Blake’s face looked like after licking the frosting beaterThis chocolate butter cream is amazing . These cupcakes are pretty awesome tooI’ve never seen sage bloom but the fresh leaves I bought at the store to use in a recipe and ended up rooting in water has this beautiful flower. I hope it means it healthy.

I know I’m getting kind of boring but I am so excited for spring. I planted the thyme cuttings I photographed on Day 7. Then I took a picture of the emerging leaves on the lilac bushes I last photographed on Day 74. It’s been an exhausting week. Aaron left town on Monday morning and just got home this evening. Tomorrow I pick up the packet to enroll Blake in Preschool for next Fall. Since I’m enrolling him so late they only have a two day a week (2.5 hour days) morning spot instead of four days a week. I think he’s going to have fun and learn while he’s at it!

First up Blake is cute. I really like the focus on his eyes in these two picture
I put so thyme sprigs in water hoping they would root and I could plant them either indoors or next Spring. I think the roots look interesting.
I also put a mint sprig in to root.
